ProxiSite is a simple collection of links to trending and viral videos from around the web. No account, no app, no subscription — just a running list of what's getting shared right now.

What you'll find here

We keep an eye on social platforms and video sites and link out to clips that are picking up steam — funny moments, surprising footage, and the longer watches everyone talks about. Everything is embedded or linked from its original source; we don't host videos ourselves.

A quick note on "viral" claims

Take any "full video" or "watch online" hype with a grain of salt — here and everywhere else. If a link promises something the page doesn't deliver, that's on the source site, not us. We link, we don't vouch.

Staying safe

Viral-video corners of the internet attract pop-ups, fake download buttons, and misleading ads. Our rule: never download anything a video page tells you to — real videos play in your browser. If a linked page asks you to install software to watch, close it. There's no app to download for this site, and there never will be.

Bookmarking this. My feed algorithms keep showing me the same five creators, so a human-curated trending list is a nice antidote. Algorithms optimize for engagement, curators optimize for "actually good."

The surprising-footage category is my favorite. Saw a deep-sea creature clip here last week that I never would have found on my own. That's the value of curation over algorithms right there.

One suggestion: date-stamp the entries. "What's getting shared right now" goes stale fast, and it's hard to tell if I'm looking at today's list or last month's. Timestamps would fix that.

Good idea. Even a simple "updated" line at the top would help. Otherwise you get the weird experience of clicking a "trending" link to a video with 40 views from 2019.

The pop-up warning is no joke. I clicked a linked video last month that spawned four tabs of casino ads. Not this site's fault — the source was shady. The "close it" advice is the right call.
